If you are looking for the most private, unique, modern, comfortable, artistic, and exclusive property on the beach, this is it. Designed by the renowned architect Teodoro Gonzalez de Leon, with his minimalist and unique geometry in a white concrete structure, it stands with open spaces on a private and quite beach in Bay of Banderas, near Punta Mita.

It has seven white suites, all with ocean view and air conditioning, all of them beautifully equipped with white linens, a powerful shower, a closet, and a private bathroom. You will sleep like a baby lulled by the rhythmic sound of the waves.

The master suite has a king size bed and TV, and a gigantic terrace with jacuzzi and a lounge. Three of the suites have king size beds, TV and a tub. The other three have two double beds. All the suites have their own terrace and chez-longue to enjoy the breeze, read and have a view of the peaceful ocean. All have Wifi.

Located in the secured, gated community of Punta del Burro, one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Jalisco and Nayarit, Tatehuari —the name of the villa comes from the God Sun of the Huicholes, the loving sun that shelters the people of their community— overlooks one of the most beautiful and private beaches in Mexico, where you can enjoy the most breath-taking sunsets.

Situated just 35 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta Airport, 10 minutes from Punta de Mita, 20 minutes from Sayulita, and minutes from La Cruz de Huanacaxtle that has its own marina with yachts and fisherman boats, this is the best location for enjoying the best that Bay of Banderas has to offer: surf, relax and enjoy the panoramic view that looks to the unhabited Marietas Islands, the so called Island of Love for its rare and photogenic structure as a result of volcanic activity.

Tatehuari is family-owned house, very chic, very carefully taken care of every detail, with flowers and art pieces ideally located. The house, with a big garden, a private infinity pool and hot jacuzzi, is very spacious with an inner dining room for 18 (to be used when it rains in summertime), and an outer dining room for daily use next to the pool, with two big spacious tables and a lounge under a wooden gazebo, next to an outside grill and teppanyaki.

Our spacious home has also four more big lounges and seven beach loungers, ideal spaces to share and enjoy time with friends or family. There is plenty of space to relax, work, read, enjoy the good weather or admire nature and sunsets. We also have a family room with a big TV, a ping pong table, and a gym with weights, treadmill, exercise bike and an elliptical.

The house in two levels has a big staircase and is just four steps distance from the beach. We have cribs, booster seats, tables for kids and car seats for babies, it’s a great house for families. We also have a kayak if you are willing to experience the ocean or to see dolphins or turtles at a near site. At a walking distance, on our same beach, you can experience epic waves to surf (you can rent surfing equipment at Punta Mita).

Our staff includes helpful and efficient persons that can cook, have the house tidy, take you around the zone in the van or pamper you. We offer you complete breakfast, cebiches, delicious fish, meat, pasta and salads, or Mexican food, beautifully cooked as at home. If we know ahead of time what you like to eat, we can be prepared with your preferences. Also, if you would like to have a more sophisticated chef or kosher food, we can book in advance at your own expense.

From December to May, you can see big whales on the ocean while having breakfast or throughout the day, you just need to watch carefully because mothers hatch their babies on our ocean. From July to November, the big turtles (Olive Ridley turtle) nest on our beach and, with a conservation perspective, our community in Burro´s has a turtle sanctuary, with the support of the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources of Mexico. Once the turtles break the eggs (from November through February) we help introduce them to the sea, wishing to conserve these magnificent creatures. If you come on these months, you might be lucky to participate in this fascinating ritual.

If you feel like exploring outside our property, there are great restaurants and other fabulous beaches within a short drive. We can help coordinate golf, dinners, massages, trio or mariachis, rental of a car or suburban, a whale watching boat, a yacht or more. We also have several Tommy Bahamas backpack style beach chairs and umbrellas, that you can use if you need them.

Built and enjoyed by our family, we are starting to rent it just for very special guests that are willing to enjoy our paradise and stay long stays of a week or more. We are looking for the right exclusive guests than can take care of our home, as we do… The pictures talk by itself…
